R&D Engineer (Optics)

Job Responsibilities

1. Participate in the optical design and development of new intraocular lens products, including optical solution planning, performance optimization, and design verification.

2. Work closely with the production department to develop and optimize product manufacturing processes, and promote the transformation of product design into industrialized production.

3. Participate in optical performance testing, process validation, and related data analysis to ensure that products meet design requirements.

4. Participate in the preparation and maintenance of quality system documents for product design and development, including design documents, verification reports, and related records.

5. Participate in intellectual property applications, and assist in the application of scientific and technological projects as well as the transformation of technical achievements.

Qualifications

1. Educational Background

Bachelor’s degree or above in Optical Engineering, Physical Optics, Engineering Optics, Optoelectronic Information Science and Engineering, or related fields.

2. Work Experience

More than one year of relevant experience in optical design;
or experience participating in scientific research projects or studies related to optical imaging system design.

3. Professional Skills

Familiar with basic optical theories and imaging principles.

Knowledge of testing principles and common equipment operation related to effective focal length measurement, wavefront testing, and optical imaging quality evaluation.

Proficient in mechanical drawing software such as SOLIDWORKS and CAD.

Proficient in optical design software such as ZEMAX for lens design and optimization, with capabilities in diffractive optical design, optical performance analysis, and MTF evaluation.

4. Comprehensive Competencies

CET-6 or above, or good English reading and writing skills.

Good communication and coordination skills, teamwork spirit, and project execution ability.

Detail-oriented, rigorous, responsible, and able to work under certain pressure.
