By leveraging the Group’s R&D technology platforms in the United States and the United Kingdom, Henan Universe has accelerated technology introduction and R&D innovation, becoming an important force in promoting the advancement of China’s domestic intraocular lens industry.
In January 2024, Henan Universe was recognized by the Henan Provincial Department of Science and Technology as the Henan Provincial Engineering Technology Research Center for Ophthalmic Medical Devices. In the same month, it was also recognized by the Henan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology as a Specialized, Refined, Distinctive, and Innovative SME of Henan Province.

Products such as the heparin-surface-treated large-optic aspheric intraocular lens and the heparin-surface-treated open-loop haptic aspheric intraocular lens were also successively approved for market launch.
